In a shocking turn of events, industrial drummer Meqran Rysbek Mendez (aged 35) from one-hit-wonder band Playing With Fire has passed away following a horrific motor accident on the I-95. Authorities are still working to gather more details on the nature of the accident.

Witnesses state that Mendez was driving in the left-most lane before a large semi-truck recklessly changed lanes, colliding with Mendez' vehicle. The semi-truck's conductor has been taken into questioning and will likely face over 10 years in prison for vehicular homicide.

Having been raised in Los Canciones for most of his life, Mendez was a beloved community member by most. Residents of LC state that a ceremony will be held on the 15th to commemorate his legacy.
